He was born in 1902, in Chillan, Chile. As a young boy he lived and studied in Mulchén, in the South of Chile He arrives to Santiago in 1918. He enters the School of Fine Arts. Juan Francisco Gonzales and Fernando Tauby, were his Art Professors. Marcos Bontá and Exequiel Plaza were his art classmates.
En Valparaiso he works at the Studio of Benito Ramos Catalán.
En 1924 he exhibits his artworks for the first time at the Mori and Guevara Art Gallery. This Exhibition was a great success.
En 1927 he opens his Studio in Santiago and in 1930 he exhibits at Eyzaguirre Art Show Room .
In 1953, he is invited for the Hispanic Cultural Institute of Madrid to go to Spain. Soon, he goes to Rome, where he stays for two years
In Madrid and Rome, he exhibits in many occasions with great success.
