Chilean artist.
Born in Puerto Montt, city in the south of Chile, (1925).

He entered the Fine Arts School in 1942.
He studied painting with Jorge Caballero, drawing with Gregorio de la Fuente and Rural Painting with Laureano Guevara.
In 1958 he continued his art studies in Checoslovaquea .

Exhibitions organized by the Foreign
Relations Bureau of Chile,allowed him to exhibit his artworks in China, South Africa and in most of Latin American contries.
In Chile he was awarded with the highest distinctions
that the country grants to the plastic artists.
He presented many exhibitions in Santiago
and in the main cities of Chile.
His style could be described as close to the
Figurative Impressionism.

1971: Premio Adriasola "National Hall of Fine Arts.".

In 1972 The Municipality of Puerto Montt awarded him with the title
"The Most outstanding Son of the City".
