He was disciple of Israel Roa
and of Reinaldo Villaseņor.
His painting is characterized by strong brush strokes
that he uses in a defined way.
Color is also strong and pure.

among them, in 1989, the Prize
of the Fine Art Society
of Santiago, Chile,
granted by the Foundation Edwards Matte.
