Born in Pirque, near Santiago, Chile,in 1921.
He studies Art in the School of Applied Arts,
dependent School of the University of Chile.
His most outstandings teachers were:
Jose Perotti,Chilean National Price of Art,
Anita Cortez, Chilean National Price of Art,
Augusto Eguiluz and Carlos Pedraza.
He has exhibited a large number of times in Santiago,
Chile, and in the principal cities of the country.
He has been awarded many times . Among them:
1960.....Honour Third Prize, Art Exhibition, Ministry of
the Housing, Santiago, Chile.
1973....Special Mention, National Hall of Art, Santiago, Chile,
1975....Second Medal, National Hall of Art, Santiago, Chile.
Foreign Institutions that have acquired some of his artworks:
Djakarta Museum, Indonesia; Museum of the American Painting,
Tokio, Japon; Garcia Huidobro Museum in Madrid, Espaņa;
Embassy de Chile in Noruega and in Finlandia.
In Chile, some of his paintings has been acquired for:
Hotel Sheraton San Cristóbal, Santiago; Escuela Militar de Chile;
Cia. Sudamericana de Vapores; Casino Municipal de Viņa del Mar.
and for many privates Art Collectors.
